A sweet, savory, and slightly smoky Bourbon Chicken recipe, inspired by Bourbon Street flavors, with a rich, caramelized sauce.

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • ½ cup bourbon whiskey (or apple juice as a substitute)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp green onions (chopped, for garnish)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
